We have a published code of conduct which is meaningful and embraced by our executive management. Agility places a contractual requirement on our suppliers to be compliant with social responsibility issues.
Health and Safety: Agility strives to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all of our employees and business associates. We aim to comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines recommended by health and safety authorities. We liaise with staff regarding our practices so that we can continue to maintain a healthy, safe, and enjoyable environment. It is important that our facilities demonstrate our commitment to good working conditions and respect for the environment. We observe all applicable laws and regulations in the countries in which we operate.
Our policy is to ensure that our employees are well-equipped with all necessary personal protective equipment. Our employees are properly informed about work hazards and they receive proper training for the handling of hazardous substances. We make available to all employees the important information of MSDS for chemicals used in the workplace. Each facility maintains records of accidents and injuries. We comply with all requirements regarding emergency exits and firefighting equipment. Evacuation drills are carried out so that we are properly prepared in the event of emergencies.
Worker Rights: Employee compensation and working hours are always maintained in accordance with ILO conventions. Our company has a policy of paid leave and adequate wages, and we comply with all overtime related legal requirements. Agility complies with applicable laws, agreements, and industry standards on working hours and compensation.
Child and Forced Labor: Child labor and forced labor are strictly prohibited and we are in accordance with ILO conventions, just as are our actions with disciplinary measures. Our employees meet minimum age requirements per national laws and are allowed to leave the factory premises after work anytime, in compliance with statutory regulations.
Freedom of Association: Agility upholds the employee's right to freely join and take action in, or form, workers organizations.
Discrimination: All of our employees are treated in a nondiscriminatory manner with regard to wages, benefits, hiring procedures, race, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability, or sexual orientation.
Environment: Agility strives to ensure that our operations have a minimal impact on the environment. We acknowledge that there are inevitable environmental impacts associated with operations and we aim to minimize any harmful effects and embrace the development of effective environmental management systems to achieve this goal.
Ethical Conduct: Our organization and business partners are encouraged to promptly report any potentially illegal, improper, and/or unethical conduct in the workplace.
